Reporting brings live Google Search Console and Google Analytics data together with monthly first-touch survey uploads. Use it to see search performance, site traffic, and how people say they found you. This is separate from Analytics, which compares experiment executions over time. Navigate to Reporting → Reporting in the sidebar.

Reporting vs Analytics

Connect Google

One Google connection covers both Search Console and Analytics properties.
1

Start the connection

Click Connect Google and complete Google authorization for the account that owns your properties.
2

Choose properties

Select a Search Console property and an Analytics property. The connector shows Connected once both are selected.
3

Refresh data

Charts load for the selected properties. Use Refresh to pull the latest data.
If authorization is cancelled or expires, start Connect Google again. Connection errors appear at the top of the page and in place of charts, so a failed source does not look like zero traffic. Use Disconnect on the Google Data API card to remove the connector. Show / Hide next to Search Console or Analytics hides that source’s charts without disconnecting.

Filters

After Google is connected, use the Filters bar and click Apply filters. Reset returns to the defaults. Date range
  • Last X days — Last 7, 28, or 90 days (default Last 28 days)
  • Custom range — pick a start and end date (the latest available day is yesterday)
Search Console
  • Device — All devices, Desktop, Mobile, or Tablet
  • Search type — Web (default), Image, Video, News, Discover, or Google News
  • Country — optional three-letter code (for example, usa)
Analytics
  • Channel — all channels, or a default channel group such as Organic Search or Direct

Search Console

When Search Console charts are visible, Reporting shows:
  • Clicks, Impressions, CTR (clicks / impressions), and Avg position (impression-weighted)
  • Search clicks & impressions — daily performance
  • CTR & average position — the position axis is inverted (lower is better)
  • Top queries and Top pages — ranked by clicks (lists start with a preview; use Show all to expand)
  • Device split — clicks vs impressions
  • Top countries — by clicks

Google Analytics

When Analytics charts are visible, Reporting shows:
  • Sessions and Users
  • Site traffic over time — sessions and users
  • Traffic by channel — default channel group
  • Top landing pages — by sessions, with users and engagement rate
  • Source / medium — sessions by source and medium
  • Bounce rate over time

Unified page performance

When both Search Console and Analytics charts are visible, Unified page performance joins Search Console pages and Analytics landing pages by path. Multiple Search Console URLs for the same path are grouped. If there are no exact path matches in the selected range, the table explains that no pages could be joined.

Primary attribution

Primary attribution is monthly survey data — typically “how did you hear about us” responses. It does not require the Google connection.
1

Open Manage data

On the Primary attribution card, click Manage data. If you have no uploads yet, you can also click Upload CSV.
2

Pick a month

Choose the calendar month the file belongs to. Uploading the same month again replaces that month’s data.
3

Upload a CSV

Required columns are Answer (the source) and Count. A Share column is optional and ignored. Use Download sample CSV for the format, then drop a file or click to browse.
Uploaded months appear in the dialog with the file name and response count. You can delete a month from that list. When data is present, Reporting shows:
  • Total responses, Months uploaded, and Distinct sources
  • Responses by source — source trends month over month
  • Responses by month — one dataset per calendar month
Use Show / Hide on the Primary attribution card to hide these charts without deleting uploads.
