# AEO Audit

> Run a homepage-only AEO audit to score AI discoverability and get fix suggestions.

AEO Audit runs a homepage-only scorecard for AI discoverability. It evaluates your homepage and returns an overall AEO score, category scores, and check-level recommendations.

## In-app audit

In the authenticated app:

1. Enable **Show Additional Tools in the sidebar** under **Settings → Navigation**
2. Open **Execution → AEO Audit**
3. Enter your **Homepage URL**
4. Click **Run audit**

The report shows:

* **Overall AEO Score**
* Category cards labeled **Good**, **Average**, or **Needs work**
* Per-check scores with optional **fix** guidance

## Public audit

A public lead-capture version is available at `/aeo-audit` without signing in. That form asks for:

* **Full name**
* **Email**
* Homepage URL

After the audit completes, XLR8.ai can email an AI Visibility Report within 24 hours.

## When to use it

Use AEO Audit when you want a fast homepage health check before or alongside a full experiment. It does not replace visibility or sentiment experiments — it complements them with site-level discoverability guidance.
